About this Diploma
This diploma is a private British qualification awarded by Kadmon
Academy of Human Potential. Texts used are up-to-date textbooks by leading
professors and experts in the field.
This diploma is not related to HNC/HND/NVQ
qualifications and does not give you automatic entry to British universities.
It is not a government-recognised qualification.
This
diploma is primarily aimed at people in business (including small businesses
and self-employment) who wish to develop their organisational management skills
as well as to have a qualification they can use in their c.v. / résumé.
Graduates of the course will be able to use the designatory letters ‘Dip.O.B.’
after their name. The course will also be of interest to psychology
graduates or life coaches who have not studied organisational psychology and are moving into the
business world; those preparing to study business management at university at a
later date, or taking an industrial gap year; stress managers and executive
development trainers wishing to understand the corporate environment;
retired/redundant executives without a formal qualification who are moving into
consultancy; those who wish to teach evening or adult education classes in the
subject; and anyone interested in organisational behaviour and corporate change.
The
qualification is for those who want a quicker, more accessible and/or more
affordable alternative than a university Diploma in Management Studies or MBA,
and for those who do not wish or need to study economics, finance and
accounting. Our course concentrates on the human face of the organisation, and
is biased towards the empowerment of the individual in the organisation and in
society. Its aim is to produce graduates who can be successful, and allow their
enterprises to be successful, by empowering themselves and others.
A high standard of written English
and the ability to study comfortably on your own, and without close supervision,
are essential. Experience of business in a responsible position is preferred. Experience of A-level study or equivalent (for example
Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement Tests, or other national qualifications for
18–21-year-olds) or some further or adult education, is strongly preferred, as
is experience in the business environment. However, applicants without these
qualifications will be considered on their merits subject to a qualifying essay
at our discretion.
