UKCHT focuses on the provision of quality personal
growth, vocational and professional development qualifications to those who
prefer to study from a distance. Students include those who cannot visit a
classroom because they live in remote areas, those who have a busy schedule and
those whose commitments mean they cannot set aside regular hours for study.

Our Founder and
Principal
Morris L. Berg BSc(Hons) Psychol, PhD
(USA)
Morris Berg is a hypnotherapist, psychotherapist,
life coach and educator.
Morris holds a UK accredited honours degree in Psychology, and higher degrees in hypnotherapy, management,
psychology and comparative
religion from non-traditional universities in USA, Ireland and the West
Indies. Morris holds a number of qualifications
in counselling, hypnotherapy and psychotherapy and was elected to the status of
Emeritus Fellow by The Hypnotherapy Society, the society’s highest honour. He is an Accredited Supervisor of The
National Hypnotherapy Society, and was awarded a
Fellowship of the National Council for Hypnotherapy in recognition of his role
as co-author of a well-reviewed book on careers for hypnotherapists.
Morris Berg is an Accredited
Past Life Healer and has practised past life regression therapy with many
clients. He is an accredited counsellor with The National Counselling Society, a CCC Registered
Counsellor, a Certified
Hypnotherapist member of the National Guild
of Hypnotists (USA), a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming,
a Usui Reiki Master and master in several other Reiki modalities, a Master
Practitioner of EFT (Inst.M.P.), a certified Meditation
Teacher and a certified Advanced Law of Attraction
Practitioner.
His professional development includes
a Diploma in NLP Life Coaching, Diploma in Life
Coaching, Diploma in Colour Therapy, Advanced
Diploma in Professional Stress Management,
Advanced Diploma in
Meridian Psychotherapy, Diploma in Medical
Hypnotherapy, NESTA Certified® Sports Hypnotist and Diploma in Smoking
Cessation Therapy. He also has completed numerous CEU courses including training in Therapeutic
Metaphor and Clean Language with David Grove and
study in Mindfulness-based approaches with National
Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral
Medicine (USA).
Morris has been involved in private
sector distance
learning tutoring and curriculum development since 1993. His current
educational work unites his long-standing interests in a number of holistic
fields. He is a director of Calamus Extension College Ltd., which
provides distance degree programmes validated by Calamus International
University (an overseas university).
As well as compiling and tutoring
textbook-based courses for UKCHT, Morris is working
on several major self-contained course projects
including a totally new and groundbreaking course on
Affirmations for therapeutic and self-help use, the
result of several years of research. A unique course
on Regression Therapy is also in the research phase.
